Transfer EXIF metadata from one image to another while preserving image quality
Source (has EXIF data)
Drop or click to upload
JPEG, PNG, WebP, TIFF
Target (receives EXIF)
Drop or click to upload
Transfers EXIF metadata from a source image to a target image with selective field inclusion. Users can transfer all metadata, filter by category (Camera info, Date/Time stamps, GPS coordinates), or select individual custom fields. The transferred metadata is applied to a copy of the target image, preserving both originals.
When editing images in software that strips or alters EXIF, original metadata is lost. A dedicated transfer tool allows restoring EXIF from the original to the edited version, or selectively copying metadata between images for batch organization.
Photographers editing in software that strips EXIF, photo archivists standardizing metadata across collections, web developers batch-processing images for e-commerce, and forensic analysts transferring verified timestamps.
Upload 'Source' image (with EXIF data to copy) by dragging to Source area
Upload 'Target' image (to receive metadata) by dragging to Target area
Choose scope: 'All Fields', 'By Category' (Camera, Date/Time, GPS, Image Info), or 'Custom' (select specific EXIF tags)
Click 'Preview Transfer' to see which fields will be transferred — shows source vs target diff
Click 'Execute Transfer' — new image file is generated and downloaded automatically
Verify with EXIF Reader tool to confirm metadata was applied correctly

A new file is generated.
Yes (JPEG to PNG, TIFF to JPEG, etc.), but target must support the tags being transferred.
Source value overwrites target for fields in selected scope. Others remain unchanged.
