Extract and view EXIF metadata from images
Drop images here to read EXIF
JPEG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC, RAW
Extracts EXIF metadata from images (JPEG, TIFF, WebP, PNG) organized into four categories: Camera (make, model, lens, software), Photo Settings (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focal length, flash), GPS (latitude, longitude, altitude, direction), and Image Info (resolution, file size, color space, date taken). Supports copying full EXIF as JSON or CSV, stripping EXIF from images, and anonymizing GPS coordinates to configurable precision.
EXIF data contains valuable information for photographers and forensic analysis but also poses privacy risks. A tool that both extracts and selectively removes EXIF gives users control over what metadata they share while providing organized access to technical photo details.
Photographers auditing camera settings, digital forensics investigators examining image provenance, web developers building photo management tools, privacy-conscious users sanitizing images before sharing, and QA engineers verifying image metadata.
Drag-and-drop an image (JPEG, TIFF, WebP, PNG) or click to browse
EXIF data is automatically extracted into collapsible category panels: Camera, Photo Settings, GPS, Image Info
Browse extracted data — each category shows labeled fields. GPS includes a map link if available
Click 'Copy as JSON' or 'Copy as CSV' for structured export
Click 'Strip EXIF' to generate a modified copy with all metadata removed
For GPS anonymization, set precision (0.01, 0.1, 1.0 degrees) and click 'Anonymize GPS'
