Rotate images 90, 180, or 270 degrees and flip them horizontally or vertically. Preview and download — files never leave your browser
Image Rotator is loading — interactive editor will appear here. Use examples below to try instantly once loaded.

Rotates images by 90, 180, or 270 degrees (clockwise or counter-clockwise) and flips them horizontally or vertically. The transform is applied on a hidden 2D canvas using translate/rotate/scale/drawImage, the result is previewed side-by-side with the original, and you can download it in the original format (PNG/JPEG/WebP, with PNG fallback). All processing happens locally in your browser.
Photos taken on phones are often saved with the wrong orientation, and screenshots or scans frequently come out sideways or mirrored. Opening a full editor just to rotate or flip an image is overkill — this tool fixes orientation in two clicks without uploading anything.

Anyone who needs to quickly fix a sideways photo, mirror an image for design work, or correct a scan — developers preparing assets, social media managers, photographers, and office workers.

Input: a 4000x3000 JPEG photo taken in portrait but saved with landscape metadata. Output after Rotate 90° CW: a 3000x4000 JPEG displayed upright.Input: a 1200x630 PNG social banner with text facing the wrong way. Output after Flip Horizontal: the same 1200x630 PNG mirrored left-to-right.Does this tool upload my image?
No. Rotation and flipping happen entirely in your browser using the Canvas API; the file never leaves your device.
Which formats can I rotate?
JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP input. The download uses the original format when the browser canvas supports it (PNG, JPEG, WebP), otherwise PNG.
Is the rotation lossless?
The transform itself is lossless, but saving as JPEG or lossy WebP re-encodes the image. Choose a PNG source to keep an exact pixel copy.
What happens to transparency?
Rotating and flipping preserve the alpha channel in PNG and WebP output.
