### Entropy = Unpredictability Entropy measures how many guesses an attacker needs. Each bit of entropy doubles the search space.

**Rule of thumb:** 12+ characters, mixed case, numbers, symbols = ~72 bits. 16+ = future-proof.
### Randomness Source Matters - `Math.random()` — **Predictable**, seeded from system time. Never use for passwords. - `crypto.getRandomValues()` — **Cryptographically secure**, OS entropy pool. Required.

Passphrases vs. Random Strings
